How to Increase Your Seo on Your Blog Posts

by Barbara Pinyan on August 10, 2010

For a little while I was having difficulty in trying to figure out how to change my WordPress post links to something more SEO friendly.  I was finally able to figure it out with the help of a friend, thanks K.C.!

When you are working with the WordPress Theme there is a general area where you can go that will automatically change ALL of your blog posts without you ever having to worry about manually trying to change them again.  We will tell you how.

First you need to log in to your WordPress theme Dashboard.  Scroll down until you see the Settings on the left and then click on the Permalinks link.

You will want to select the custom setting and add “/%postname%/”.  Then you will click save.

That’s all there is to it!  Pretty simple huh?

Have a great day!
